Cass House Inn Photo Shoot ~ Cayucos, California

floral forward.  There's always something new to discover, and with fashion it can be as simple as a common element interpreted in a fresh way.  No other material in fashion equals the nuances of flowers.  How we adore them!!  Every shade, petal and scent are natural stars that can complete a style.
With all the details that make up your wedding - you will soon find that it is a day truly represented by your style.  The tradition of bridal attire;  be it vintage-charm or modern-chic-couture, can be an opportunity to beautifully reinterpret timeless elements.
Flowers. Whether you desire a vibrant or muted shade - a look of sophisticated tailoring, simple whimsy or theatrical brilliance, this very feminine accessory will enhance your moment that is unquestionably you. They are the crowning accent to a perfectly presented ensemble for this most important day.  Shine!

To feature our inspirations we chose The Cass House Inn - a carefully tended garden full of lush organic goodness and enchanted beauty.  How fun for us to be surrounded by such first class dedication to seaside luxury!  The models were a dream with hair and makeup by the infinitely talented Rhyan Townsend who applied the right blend of drama.  Capturing it all with passion (and patience) was the extraordinarily gifted Michelle Warren Photography.  My heart is full of thanks for my friend Kierna Terrisse/Beautymark Marketing who's my encyclopedia for all things girly!  I am happily humbled by all the fantastic possibilities for the future.

Jacqueline + Matt

summer.  Poised on the endless Pacific coastline, Avila Beach Resort is warm and familiar.  Taking inspiration from the little town that surrounds it, Jacqueline and Matt wished to create a comfortable and inviting mood.  Their vision was tailored to perfection by the master-of-detail, Mark Padgett Wedding Design.  Evocative of both seaside and garden, the elements of driftwood accompanied the finest florals of the season.  To create the soft light within the tent we adorned each window with sheer coverings that caught the occasional coastal breeze.  Since they were already in paradise, their every whim and wish was indulged.

ROXANNE+SCOTT

destination.  I'm quite certain that when Father Francisco de LasuĂ©n founded the San Miguel Mission in 1797 the local wine had something to do with it.  Perhaps, it was a graceful coincidence.  But, after a devastating fire in 1806, and the damage of the San Simeon earthquake in 2003, this treasured mission has been through enough.  It would make the dream of someday being surrounded by the spirit of artisan winemaking an excellent idea.  The appearance of the Mission today is much the same as when it was founded. The sanctuary has never been repainted. The oil paintings and vivid colors you see are original.  They were created and painted by Indian artisans under the direction of Esteban Munras.  A destination to celebrate for sure.

Especially a marriage of one of the funnest couples I have ever shared this experience with.

Planning a wedding from Chicago would likely be overwhelming for anyone, but Roxanne and Scott knew what they wanted - genuine joy and family with a historical California backdrop.  A combination that makes our rural booming wine country unique.  Old school is still abundant, and that's good.  With weddings in Paso Robles, there is never a chance of not having a great time...or great wine to make history with.

Cheers!
