romance.  Allison and Jonathan's ceremony was performed in the rows of grapevines at the prestigious Eagle Castle Winery in Paso Robles, with the guests seated below a majestic California oak tree.  Strands of crystals and tiny threads of silver bullion shimmered in the afternoon sun. With an interior design background, Allison had a clear vision of her day.  Her ideal was for the wedding decor to be a nostalgic glimpse at the beauty of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century France;  a luminous scene, radiant and rich with astonishing detail.  Needless to say, the planning of their wedding was heaven.  The reception tables were complete with French vintage flair for a setting worthy of royalty.

For all those who dream of lavish balls and living happily ever after, here is a fantasy come true.

KELLI + TREVOR

oh sunny day.  Kelli and Trevor's sunny summer wedding at Santa Margarita Ranch radiated style, charm and the joys of nature.  From the very first day of planning, her wish was to keep it fun and filled with the sweet bounty of summer.  Fresh lemons, English garden roses, daisies, olive branches and buttercups kept the mood carefree and casual.  More intricate details included Kelli being proudly escorted by her father (love that guy!) down a yellow pin-striped aisle runner, antique paned windows printed with the guests' names for the table seating and her mom's fabulous collection of vintage milk glass vases.  The final flourish was an inviting lounge of white burlap-covered hay bales where guests could kick up their heels and enjoy the revelry as the sun went down over the distant hills.

Cady Connelly captured the relaxed, family feeling that carried the day.

details.  We are so excited to see the details of Erin and Mark's August wedding blogged in Style Me Pretty and her bouquet featured in Bride's Magazine Spring/Summer 2011!  Their wedding was naturally enchanting, and the ingredients were definitely full of delight and whimsy.  It was hard to believe our eyes when we saw the images caught by the oh-so-superb Michelle Warren Photography.   Her photographs convey the ease and unpretentious grace of a country wedding at the Dana-Powers House in Nipomo, Ca.

KIERNA + PAUL New Year's Eve Wedding

sparkle.  Cameron Ingalls Photography captured these lovely photographs of my effortlessly gorgeous, supremely stylish friend Kierna and her handsome husband Paul at their wedding on New Year's Eve. Their welcoming home, filled with vintage collectables from the 1920's was further embellished with sparkling Christmas ornaments in the softest pastel hues.
Kierna and Paul were surrounded by their children, family and closest friends as they exchanged their vows to one another. Their first kiss as husband and wife was shared precisely at the stroke of midnight.  It was an unforgettable moment to see their joy of the moment and share in the feeling of their optimistic expectations for the years ahead.

May we all hold dearly these time-honored sentiments.  A bright, hopeful future filled with love and beauty for all of us as we celebrate 2011.
