LIBBY + BRIAN'S wedding day

nature.  It was like an afternoon playing in the garden every time I spoke with Libby and Brian.  Every flower, every foliage, every color and every scent held such important meaning for them.  With both of them being landscape architects their floral and foliage details had to be unique, as they were surrounded by the beauty every day.

The intimate ceremony (besides feathered bystanders) was held at the one-of-a-kind Margo Dodd Park in Shell Beach.  The marriage celebration then moved to the ballroom at Steamers Restaurant in Pismo Beach with a view of the ocean keeping the salty seaside feeling.  The always awesome talent of Cameron Ingalls Photography captured each detail perfectly for them to tell the story of their day.  Eclair Bakery made the most adorable cake - even garden bugs were invited as guests to the delight of us all...

{fall in love workshop} CAMERON INGALLS PHOTOGRAPHY

vision. As I drive home every evening I pass field after field filled with flowers, grains and vegetables at all stages of growth.  With the abundant rain that we have received, the hills are a verdant green, creating a backdrop for incredibly stunning color.
There is no vision of color as pure as the one that we see with our eyes and the emotion it conveys.  What continues to thrill us is how gifted photographers are able to capture this feeling with their lens.  It is their talent that makes it possible to share our floral creations with you.
With a heart-filled passion for photography, Cameron Ingalls hosted a workshop for photographers at all levels of experience at Flying Caballos Ranch in San Luis Obispo, CA.  The sweet, pastoral setting was perfect for photographers attending from around the world to fine tune their craft.  We provided the whimsical bouquet for the modeling couple.  It is thrilling for us to see the images of one bouquet through the eyes of two of the photographers.
Cana Video Production portrayed the warmth and fun of Cameron's endeavor on an early spring day, reminding us that wedding photography is much more than just capturing an image - it's love.

MELISSA + TODD'S wedding day

shine.  I began 2010 with a hug from a Queen.
Melissa wanted to ring in the New Year with "Bling" and OH, HOW SHE SHINED!  Her beauty was phenomenal and Todd's handsome charm was the perfect complement.  With the brilliant guidance from Mark of Mark Padgett Event Design their wedding was a vision of the finest that the grandeur of winter has to offer: peonies, anemonies, orchids, narcissus and garden roses, all accented by crystals, rhinestones and shimmering glass.  An awe-inspiring natural setting with glamorous details.  It was our first opportunity to work alongside the friendly staff at the breathtaking Calcareous Winery in Paso Robles.  To showcase the view, the room is encased in glass giving the feeling of being on top of the world, wow.  And they were!  A bright, beautiful beginning to 2010.
The always impressive talent of photographer Colleen Rosenthal captured the glittering day.
Two Cooks Catering were the artisans that created the beautiful dinner and cake.

STACI + ANDY'S wedding day

groom's choice.  Some of our favorite weddings are when the groom plays a big part in the planning of the wedding details, but rarely is it the color part.  Andy led the way in his choice of chocolate and teal, giving a romantic vineyard wedding a modern mood.  We celebrated the opportunity to mix natural, woodsy elements with contemporary lines, light and textures.

Staci's sister, Kelli (our adorable bride from her Mission wedding in '05) of kelli jane photography was the photographer along with her assistant whitney elizabeth photo.   Their attention to detail and ability to capture the honesty of the moment and the emotions of the day was precise and the results gorgeous.  The seemingly effortless planning was the work of Laura at Touch of Style Events.  The wedding and reception were held at Meridian Vineyards in Paso Robles - always a stunning site.
